Andy Murray vs Thomas Berdych – US Open Semi-Final Prediction | PREDICTION WRONG

Alright. It’s finally the semi-finals for the 2012 U.S. Open Tennis Championships, and on this post, I will be posting my prediction on who will win the semi-finals for the match of Andy Murray vs Thomas Berdych.

Now, Thomas Berdych is a very talented player with a very clean, powerful forehand, and it will take a lot of skill to defeat him. Berdych has been on tour for 13 years, which is 5 years over Murray. But the one that has more singles titles and a higher ranking is Andy Murray.

I am almost 100% sure that there will be a tie-breaker in this match, as long as one of the players don’t play badly throughout the match. Whoever wins that tie-breaker will most likely win the match. Also, I think Murray should be hitting drop shots against Berdych, because he usually gives up easily, or even if he catches up, he sometimes makes some errors, so if Murray hits fabulous drop shots, he will be able to gain several points. The tricky part here is to not make the drop shot go too long or too high, or Berdych will ace it. Berdych should be aiming for Murray’s forehand, because Murray’s forehand sometimes catches too much air. When the ball does that, it will allow Berdych to slam the ball into the opponent’s court with his amazing forehand.

This will be a rather interesting match to watch, but I think that Thomas Berdych will be able to pull it off and advance onto the semi-finals of the U.S. Open. Probably 4 or 5 sets.

I would like to hear YOUR opinion as well! I will respond to any comments made, so check back later if you left a comment!
