Matches of the Day

The match of the day is Marin Cilic vs Sam Querry. The match lasted 5 and a half hours, recording the 2nd longest match at Wimbledon! The fifth set was especially unbelievable! Two point before the end of the match, the rally lasted 29 shots. The point ended with Sam Querry making an out ball on the 30th shot.

Philipp Kohlschreiber defeated Lukas Rosol, who defeated Rafael Nadal in the previous round. Kohlschreiber played really well, while Lukas was not so good. Lukas did not hit many aces like he did when he was facing Nadal, and Kohlschreiber was excellent at his strokes. Lukas had many errors, and despite the fact that Rosol has a high height, he was not able to rip through his service game, resulting in multiple break serves from Kohlschreiber.

Andy Murray was frustrated when he was playing Marcos Baghdatis, but was still able to win against him.

As for David Ferrer and Andy Roddick, Roddick was doing well in the 1st set, but after the tie-break in the second set, his play started to fall. David Ferrer then ripped through the sets and won.
