Wimbledon – Day 4 (Nadal Loses!)

It’s been three days since Wimbledon 2012 started, and today, I have some very shocking news to announce. Rafael Nadal lost to Lukas Rosol (ranked 100th) in the second round of Wimbledon!

Rafael Nadal was expected to win the Wimbledon, rivaling Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer, but unfortunetly, it seems like Nadal will have to wait until next year. Lukas Rosol, ranked 100th in the world rankings defeated Rafael Nadal with a score of 6-7, 6-4, 6-4, 2-6, 6-4. This is truly an unbelievable result.

I was in a trance, I didn’t feel anything. I didn’t feel pain. I didn’t feel anything.

Lukas Rosol told the media.

It’s a miracle for me, I never expected this.

———-

I’m very, very disappointed.

Rafael Nadal, after losing the match against Lukas Rosol.

That’s what happens when you play against a player who is able to hit the ball very hard, hit the ball without thinking and feeling the pressure.

Lukas Rosol played extremely well, especially on his big, vigorous serve. He also hit the ball very hard and powerful, overwhelming Nadal. Lukas Rosol is 26 years old, and he has only won 1 doubles title in 2012 at Doha. He does not have any singles title, but that may change in this Wimbledon if he plays like that again. Amazing Lukas, congratulations.

Now that Nadal has been defeated, there is a possibility that Federer can defeat world number 1 Djokovic, then Federer will win his 17th grand slam and become number 1 in the world ranking once more. Can’t wait!
