Rafael Nadal takes his 7th Roland Garros Title
Rafael Nadal wins the 2012 Roland Garros Finals with an outstanding 6-4, 6-3, 2-6, 7-5 against world number one Novak Djokovic.
The match ended with a double-fault from Novak Djokovic. Despite the results, the Roland Garros finals was played in bad weather with rain showers, but not enough to cancel the match. Djokovic had many errors in this match, and I could not say that it was his best match. Nadal and Djokovic got slightly fired up at 5-5 when Djokovic hit a winner, but Nadal was looking at the line where Djokovic had previously hit the ball, thinking that it was out. However, 2 points had gone by since the point, so Nadal was not allowed to change the score. Though, the ball was in anyways, so there would of had not been any change. Nadal was very tough despite the bad conditions. Rafael Nadal wins his 7th French Open title, being the king of clay.
For me the most important thing is this tournament. This is probably the most special tournament in the world. Having this trophy with me is something unforgettable. I am really, really emotional. It is probably one of most special moments of my career.
